The Oncology Children's Founadtion is proud to announce we are now the Official Charity Partner of the NSW Swifts.  OCF and the NSW Swifts are excited about the opportunities that this partnership will bring and are committed to working together to raise awareness of the work undertaken by OCF.

 The Brunswick-Byron Team proudly represented their friend and teammate, Edyn who could not make it this year as she is undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with childhood cancer last year.

Six NSW Swifts players wereon hand on Saturday 11 July when the 2009 State Age Championships, with official charity partner The Oncology Children's Foundation, were officially opened at Liverpool, Blacktown and Penrith.

NSW Swifts captain Catherine Cox and Emma Koster will visit Penrith where 100 teams in four age groups (15U, 14U, 13U and 12U) will compete in Division Three.

Rebecca Bulley and Samantha May will be at Blacktown for Division Two which will be home to 104 teams for the three days of competition.

The Championship Division to be played at Liverpool, home to 103 teams, will be visited by Jessica Mansell and Amy Wild.

Adding to the excitement of the championship will be The Oncology Children's Foundation "OCF Zone". The OCF Zone will be on-site at Liverpool, Blacktown and Penrith and will feature loads of activities throughout the three days of competition.  

Visitors to the OCF Zone will have the opportunity to meet members of the NSW Swifts, win a signed 2009 NSW Swifts polo shirt, write a message to children with cancer on the Wall of Inspiration, test out their dance moves on the dance machines and purchase a red wristband.

 With 3752 games to played at three venues in four age groups, the 2009 State Age Championships are set for a dynamite weekend of on-court action!

Over the past few years, The Oncology Children's Foundation has built key relationships with other high profile sporting organisations including the Sydney Swans, Bicycle NSW and Bicycle Victoria.
