GEAR UP GIRL SYDNEY Saturday March 7th 2009
About 800 females rode either the 15km loop around Sydney Olympic Park Loop or the 55km from Cronulla to Sydney Olympic Park.
It was a beautiful day and a chance to chat and meet other cyclists along the way.
A fantastic $24,000 was raised! Well done girls!
A huge congratulations to Ruby, 8yrs old, who cycled the 15km with her mum after being treated for lung cancer in late 2008. She raised an incredible $3,320. What an inspiration!
Congratulations to Sarah Morris for winning a place on the Cycling Trip to Cambodia.
She is an inspiration as she biked the 55km, having only started bike riding less than a year ago!
